How to make it

  1. Pick one job per code: register, see the schedule, find the venue, or leave feedback. Paste that link below.
  2. Add your colors and logo and download the SVG for printed posters and badges, or PNG for slides and social posts.
  3. Print a test and scan it from the distance people will stand at. A poster read from 2 m away needs a code about 20 cm wide.

Before, during and after the event

Before: posters and social posts point at registration. During: the badge or the stage slide opens the schedule, the map or the Wi-Fi details. After: the same code can lead to the slides, photos or a feedback form. With a dynamic code, you re-point one printed code through all three stages instead of printing three.

Know which poster brought people in

Make a separate dynamic code for each place you promote the event, like the campus board, the coffee shop and the newsletter. Each code counts its own scans by day and city, so you see where registrations came from.

Check-in with a QR code

For check-in, the usual approach is the other way round: your ticketing or registration tool issues each guest a code and you scan it at the door. A code from this page points guests at something: a sign-in form, the schedule or the Wi-Fi.

When to use a dynamic code

Use a dynamic code instead of a static one if the link might change. You print the code once, and change where it goes from your account at any time. You also see how many people scanned it, from which city and on which phone.

Frequently asked questions

What should an event QR code link to?

The one thing you want people to do next: register before the event, see the schedule during it, or answer a feedback form after. A dynamic code can move between those without reprinting.

Can the same printed code be reused for next year's event?

Yes, if it's dynamic: change the destination to the new registration page and the old posters and banners keep working.

Can I track scans per poster?

Yes, with one dynamic code per poster location. Each shows scans by day, city and device.
