How to make it
- Fill in your name, company, phone, email and website. Leave out anything you don't want to share.
- Pick a style, add your logo, and choose the "SAVE MY CONTACT" frame so people know what the code does.
- Download the SVG for your business card printer and test it once: the phone should offer "Add to contacts".
Where contact codes work best
Business cards, name badges at events, the back of a brochure, your email signature, or a sign at your booth. People save you on the spot, instead of photographing a card they'll lose.
Keep it short to keep it scannable
All the details are stored inside the code, so every extra field makes the pattern denser. On a small business card, stick to name, phone, email and website, and print the code at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide.
If your details change
A contact code holds the details themselves, so a new phone number means a new code. If you change jobs or numbers often, point a dynamic code at a contact page on your website instead, and update the page.
Need a code you can change after printing?
Dynamic codes point to a link you can edit any time and show scans by day, city and device. They work with website links, so point one at your menu, booking page or contact page. How dynamic codes work.
