Free, no sign-up, no watermark. The sign is made in your browser; nothing you type is sent to us. The print dialog also offers "Save as PDF".

How to make it

  1. Paste your Google review link (g.page/r/… or search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=…) or your Place ID. Don't have it? Use our review link finder and click "Print it on a sign".
  2. Edit the headline. "Enjoyed your visit? Leave us a review" is a good default. Add your business name and colors.
  3. Pick a layout: a Letter sign for the counter or window, a table tent, or a 4 x 6 card for the bill folder and delivery bags. Print, then scan it once to check that it opens your review form.

Ask every customer

Google's review policies don't allow discounts or gifts for reviews, or asking only the happy customers, and the US FTC's rule on consumer reviews treats that kind of review gating as deceptive. Ask everyone the same way: a sign at the counter that every customer sees is exactly that, one neutral ask for everyone.

Where the sign works best

At the register, next to the card reader, on the bill folder, by the door on the way out, in the delivery bag. Add a line like "It takes 30 seconds". Asking in person while pointing at the sign gets far more reviews than the sign on its own.

No Google logo, on purpose

The sign uses plain words, "Review us on Google", in your own colors. Google's logo and the G mark are Google's trademarks and aren't meant for third-party signs, so we don't include them. QR Code Desk isn't affiliated with Google.

Count the scans

A static code works forever but can't be counted. A dynamic code shows scans by day, city and device, and you can re-point it (to a new location's profile, say) without reprinting. 3 dynamic codes are free.

When to use a dynamic code

Use a dynamic code instead of a static one if the link might change. You print the sign once, and change where the code goes from your account at any time. You also see how many people scanned it, from which city and on which phone. Create the dynamic code first, then paste its short link into the sign maker above.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I get my Google review link?

In Google Business Profile, choose "Ask for reviews" and copy the link, or use our free review link page: it builds the link from your business's Place ID.

Can I ask only happy customers to scan?

No. Google doesn't allow selective review requests, and the FTC treats review gating as deceptive. Put the sign where every customer sees it.

Can I put the Google logo on my sign?

We'd leave it out. Google's logo and the "G" mark are trademarks; plain text such as "Review us on Google" is fine and is what this sign uses.

Is this sign free?

Yes. Print it, or download it as PNG or SVG, with no sign-up and no watermark.

What happens when a customer scans it?

Their phone opens your Google review form with the star rating ready to tap. They need to be signed in to a Google account.
