GloriaFood is shutting down: keep your menu and QR codes working
Oracle ends all GloriaFood products and services on April 30, 2027. If your tables, flyers or window have a GloriaFood QR code, here is what changes, and how to move your menu so the next code you print keeps working.
The dates, from Oracle's FAQ
- April 30, 2027: end of life for every GloriaFood product and service: Online Ordering (free and paid tiers), Point of Sale and Oracle Payment. Oracle says extensions beyond that date are not possible.
- Paid services can end earlier. Renewals and new orders are accepted only up to one month before April 30, 2027, and a paid service ends when its last renewal period ends. Oracle's example: a 30-day service renewed on March 3, 2027 ends on April 3, 2027.
- The free Online Ordering tier stays available until April 30, 2027.
- No new direct sign-ups. Oracle no longer signs new restaurants directly; until the end date, new restaurants can join only through GloriaFood partners. Some add-ons, such as the Sales Optimized Website and the Branded Mobile App, can no longer be added.
- Your data: after your services end, Oracle says you can retrieve your data for 30 days.

What happens to your GloriaFood menu link and QR codes
GloriaFood's dine-in QR codes and its ordering links open your menu on GloriaFood's own pages. Oracle's FAQ doesn't go through each link, but it says GloriaFood services won't be available after the end date, and its answers on integrations say that after that date customers will no longer be able to place online orders on your website, Facebook page or through your branded app. Plan for every printed GloriaFood code and link to stop working by April 30, 2027, or earlier if your paid services end first.
A printed QR code can't be edited: the link is stored in the pattern itself. So the table tents, stickers and flyers have to be replaced either way. The real question is whether the new ones will need replacing again.
Move your menu to a QR Code Desk menu page
- Copy your menu while your GloriaFood account still works: section names, dishes, prices and short descriptions. Oracle gives 30 days to retrieve data after services end; don't wait for that.
- Create a free QR Code Desk account. On My QR codes, give the code a name (for example "Table menu") and choose Create a menu page instead.
- Add your sections and items, or paste the whole menu as text, one item per line: Name | Price | Description. Prices are shown exactly as you type them, so any currency works.
- If you take online orders through another provider, add its link as a button, such as "Order online". Put opening hours or the Wi-Fi name in the footer note. Save: the page is live.
- Print new table tents: on the code's page choose Print a table tent or sign, or open the free table tent template and paste the code's short link. Test with two phones, then swap the old tents.
Why a dynamic code means you don't reprint next time
The new code points to a short link we run (qrcodedesk.com/r/…), which opens your menu page. Change a price, add a dish, or later point the code at a different menu or ordering site from your account, and every printed tent follows on the next scan. You also see how many people scanned it, by day. If you cancel a paid plan, codes you created keep working.
Free: unlimited static codes + 1 dynamic code. No card needed. Sign in with Google or a link by email.
What we don't do
QR Code Desk shows your menu; it doesn't take orders or payments. There's no cart, checkout, kitchen tickets or delivery. If you rely on GloriaFood for online ordering, you'll need an ordering provider for that part. Once you have one, put its ordering link on your menu page as a button, so guests who scan the table code can read the menu and then order there.
We also don't move data out of GloriaFood for you, and we don't check allergen or nutrition information: tags like "V" or "GF" appear exactly as you type them.

Frequently asked questions
When does GloriaFood shut down?
Oracle ends all GloriaFood products and services on April 30, 2027, according to its GloriaFood end-of-life FAQ (March 2026). Paid services can end earlier, when their last renewal period runs out; renewals are accepted only up to one month before that date.
Will my GloriaFood QR codes keep working?
Plan for them to stop. They open GloriaFood pages, and GloriaFood services end on April 30, 2027, or earlier for paid services whose last renewal runs out first. A printed code can't be changed, so table tents and flyers with a GloriaFood code need replacing.
Can QR Code Desk take online orders or payments?
No. We host your menu page and the QR code that opens it; we don't take orders or payments. If you need online ordering, use an ordering provider and add its link as a button on your menu page.
How much does a menu page cost?
A menu page uses one dynamic code. The Free plan includes 1 dynamic code, Pro ($9/month) includes 100 and Business ($29/month) 1,000. Static QR codes and the table tent template are free without an account.
Will I have to reprint when the menu changes again?
No. Edit the menu page, or point the code at a different page, from your account. The printed code stays the same and opens the new version on the next scan.
Is QR Code Desk part of Oracle or GloriaFood?
No. QR Code Desk is an independent QR code service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Oracle or GloriaFood. GloriaFood is a trademark of Oracle and/or its affiliates.
