How to make it

  1. Open your wish list or registry on Amazon, make sure it's set to public or shared, and copy the share link Amazon gives you (not the address from your own signed-in browser).
  2. Paste the link below, pick a color and download the PNG or SVG.
  3. Print it on the invitation, flyer or classroom letter with a line like "Scan for our wish list", and test it with a phone before sending it out.

Who uses wish list codes

Teachers put one on the back-to-school letter for classroom supplies. Shelters and food banks put it on flyers and donation bins. Parents put a registry code on baby shower and birthday invitations. The code opens the live list, so items already bought drop off as Amazon updates it.

Check the list is shareable

A private list opens as an error for everyone else. In the list's settings, choose Public or Shared and use the link Amazon gives you for sharing.

If the list changes

Wish list links usually stay the same, but a new list or a new registry means a new link. A dynamic code lets you re-point a printed code at the new list, and shows how many people scanned the flyer.

Not affiliated with Amazon

QR Code Desk isn't affiliated with Amazon. The code opens the link you paste. Amazon and its logos are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates; plain text such as "Scan for our wish list" is all your print needs.

When to use a dynamic code

Use a dynamic code instead of a static one if the link might change. You print the code once, and change where it goes from your account at any time. You also see how many people scanned it, from which city and on which phone.

Create free account

3 dynamic codes free. No card needed. Sign in with Google or a link by email.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my wish list QR code say the list can't be found?

The list is private, or the link came from your own signed-in page. Set the list to Public or Shared and copy the share link Amazon provides.

Can I use it for a baby registry or a classroom list?

Yes. Any public wish list or registry link works.

Is this free?

Yes. Static codes are free with no sign-up and no watermark. Dynamic codes, which can be re-pointed after printing, need a free account (3 included).
